Although I have aquired two chip & dip sets (and a dozen or so individual “dip” bowls) via piece-by-piece discovery, I recently found a boxed set from a local thrift store.

This isn’t the first “in box” Wexford that I’ve found, but it is the most modern box design. The seasonal motive leaves me curious to how many different packaging designs each boxed set went through in its production lifespan.

The set includes the 12″ serving platter and the 5.5″ bowl, listed individually at $4.00 and $3.50 respectively. I do not have a list price for the set.

Versatility: The bowl serves many purposes: sorbet, dessert, candy, snacks, as well as fitting in the center ring of the five-part relish tray. The platter has more limits dut to the raised ring that holds the bowl centered, although numerous things could be heaped upon a solo platter, and the center ring is large enough to hold the scalloped edged 6″ salad bowl, which holds nearly twice the volume as included dip bowl.
I would also note that I have found exactly one scalloped edged salad bowl.
