Anchor Hocking has produced at least three decanters, the most commonly found being the wine decanter. The catalog pages call it simply “Decanter” but it was sold in a set with wine glasses, hence my term for the piece. Thirty-two ounces, listed for $12.00.

An online search produces a range of $12.00 to $72.00, with or without glasses, but I have found them repeatedly between $6.00 and $10.00 at local thrift stores.


It is among the hexagon pieces of the line. At some point, the stopper design went from the fluted bulb depicted in the diagram above to one with all of the Wexford design details as shown below…
