the rare scallops…

These bowls are among the hardest to find of the Wexford collection. I have found exactly none in thrift stores, unlike the majority of what we have accumulated.

Of these bowls, there are: an eight and a quarter diameter “bowl, deep”; a six inch diameter salad bowl; and a sorbet bowl and candleholder, both with a five inch diameter.

The Deep Bowl:

We only received the first (and only) two of these bowls earlier today. The most complete item list I have for Wexford has no images, so I wasn’t aware this size and shape of bowl existed prior to finding these online.

The Salad Bowl:

I found exactly one of these while thrifting. Looking for more online is how I discover that the salad and sorbet bowls were two different things. We currently have three, using one as an upgrade in the lazy susan from the smaller dip/salad bowl.
