I found this online last week, having never seen anything like it in any pattern. It is a gorgeous Wexford-adjacent piece, listed as Wexford, but I strongly doubt it is…

Curiously, every feature on this pitcher/decanter is found throughout the Wexford series, except maybe the lid. The biggest standout is the layout of the large and small diamond grids. They are in each other spots. The middle band (except it’s contents), the diamond grids, the starburst on the bottom, the fluting around the neck: absolutely Wexford.

And I should say, this is big… When found online, I thought it was essentially a syrup dispenser and of the same general size. From base to the top of the metal finial, it measures twelve and a half inches.

It joins the cobalt shakers and the silver-banded candy dishes in my supporting collection of Wexford imposters that add all the more to the character of the collection, as well as speak to the popularity of the collection during its years of production.
