Last week, I had an opportunity to combine my obsession with Anchor Hocking’s Wexford glassware and my experience as an event florist on the occasion of my younger niece’s wedding.
She had selected fiftyflowers.com as the flower source (which turned out to be an excellent experience). As we went through their wedding themes, she mentioned her interest in a more vintage less rustic look, the latter being a current trend and represented in many looks on the site.
I reassured her that could be managed through design choices. I also shared my initial idea for containers:

I had enough Wexford candy dishes to use as centerpieces for the thirteen reception tables. When she replied with, “I really like the Wexford.” I opened up the flood gates:

surrounded each centerpiece
From there, I just kept adding whatever fit our needs:

as table number holders with the addition
of flat aluminum craft wire

in combination for the bar arrangements

the big ceremony arrangements,
which later moved to the reception tent

of rosemary, sweat bat, fruited olive,
roses and baby’s breath
gold trimmed tumblers and toothpick holders trimmed with flat wire were repurposed as tealight holders

I arranged that never touched
wexford throughout the day

and guestbook table
the ceremony pieces were set behind
the head table as seen above
Let’s take a closer look at the bridal bouquet:

And the gorgeous couple:

Finally, a gallery of the processing:

The venue was Pincroft at Crowley Estate, and was absolutely amazing! Take a peak at their site.
